I’ve decided to dedicate one blog a week to share from my heart with family, friends, and the online world…so tune in…here it is…
From here on this blog will be here as a scroll of inspiration. In hopes to awaken, uplift, and inspire others to their full potentials and power within. We are all on a journey across this world and no matter where we are at, what road we are walking, which way we see the world, or what we do, we were all born as an innocent child from the womb of a woman. Together our mother and fathers union was able to create a seed, and over time it has blossomed into who we are today. There is no one, and no one way that is right for your journey or path. The more we look outside for the answers the more we dance around through every which way, only to again lead us back to our selves again.
You are a powerful person who can become and achieve greatness across this world. That greatness and achievement will be something completely different for each person. But remember you are the answer to your every question. So no matter what your told or what you hear, ask yourself, because you already know, it’s just a matter of being reminded and remembering. We are all part of an energy and a force of creation, we are drops in an ocean of endless stories and possibilities that are being created, born, and put to rest, each day. Questions create answers…inquire within and begin to listen, and hear. I can speak these words…but it doesn’t mean that I know it all, or even a fraction, or that I live by it 100% every step. But what it means is that I am remembering, and that I’m ready for more then what we have been schooled to believe is the only way. The integration of the lessons we learn sometimes takes lots of time. Often our mind understands the concept prior to us actually embodying and fully being what we have learned. But conscious awareness is the first step to change. My question for everyone is what is your purpose? What is your gift that you want to share with others? What is your gift you want to give back to the earth? What is your gift you want to leave for the next generations? If life and the “present” moment is a gift that is given to us, then surly we all must have gifts to give back to life and each other.
I am learning and remembering the answers and pieces to the questions above. As of now I feel my purpose is to be bright, loving, energetic, forgiving, compassionate, kind, creative, and happy. To inspire creativity, and freedom of exploration. To break old patterns and boundaries. To work with storytelling through words, images, films, music, to collaborate and be part of communities of others around the world who are weaving together a story through sound, ancient teachings, and creative innovative ways. To respect others and the paths they walk and learn to truly connect with self and the path that is true to me. To feed the hungry searching spirit with the power and connection that exists now and here for each and every one of us. So we can move from a world of reacting to what is thrown our way and the stories of hate, pain, blame, shame, guilt, and suffering that exist and instead hold strong in our roots to the person we are and the stories we want to create. We cant control what comes our way, whether seen as negative or positive, but we can control how we react to the situation. My gift to the earth is honor and respect. To appreciate and really take time to be aware of how lucky I am to be gifted with water, foods, and medicines. To really see how much this earth gives to us, all we would ever need to survive and thrive. I wish to protect her resources in any way I can, I wish to plant seeds and dreams and take care of her so that we can leave her healthy and fruiting as a gift for the next generations. To help carve a healthy, abundant path for the children coming, to allow kids to have dreams and to believe that they can live them. I am sure as the days go by, Ill discover and learn more and my purpose and vision will blossom and unfold. But these are the seeds and the small sprouts that I am sharing with you now. The future is a great mystery, a gift, an opportunity, but here and now is all we have, all we are, and we have chosen and created it to be as it is. So I honor and thank the world, the universe, the spirit, god, energy, love, what ever words you understand…but remember words can be used but its truly what is behind the words that matters. The intention. The seed.
Here is a story shared from a lovely mentor and friend that inspired me to remember the importance of acceptance for we never know why certain things happen…
Maybe Good Maybe Bad
A man and his horse lived on a farm in a small country town. Each day the man and the horse would plough the fields and spend hours rounding up crops and work that needed to be done around the property. One day the horse, so desperately seeking freedom, broke free and ran across the field. He busted through the fence and took off over the horizon. The man sat in his home that night and the towns’ people came to visit. “Wow this is terrible news” “Your horse is gone and now you will have no way to plough your fields, and the work will be 10 times harder.” Said the towns people…”Mmm maybe good, maybe bad” replied the man. “What do you mean!” Exclaimed the town’s people. ” How could this be good?!” The towns’ people shook their heads and left in confusion.
For the next few weeks the man and his son worked 10 times harder ploughing the fields all on their own. One morning as they begun working they looked towards the horizon and there was the horse running over the field. He had returned. Behind him followed 3 other horses. That night the town’s people came back over. ” Wow what amazing news, your horse has returned and now you have three more working horses.” “Mmmm maybe good, maybe bad.” Said the man. “What do you mean!?” Exclaimed the town’s people. “You will have so much free time as you will be able to plough the fields much faster with 3 times the help.” The towns people again left with confusion.
The next day the man begun to work with his son in the fields. All 4 horses were working hard. After a while the wild free horse was tired of behind tied down and told what to, so he begun to buck and kick and he bucked the mans son high in the air. The boy fell and broke every bone in his body. The horse took off and ran away. That night the town’s people came over and said ” Wow this is the most terrible news we have heard.” “Your poor son.” “Mmmm maybe good, maybe bad.” Said the man. This time the town’s people got very angry. They said ” You know what, we are sick and tired of your maybe good, maybe bad, your son has broken every bone in his body. This is terrible news.” They took off in a fury.
A week later the army put out a call for every young man in town to take off for war. They knocked on each door and rounded up each and every son. The man’s son was unable to head off to war because he was bandaged from head to toe. The sons that took off for war never again returned. Months later the town’s people came over to visit the old man. They sat down and said…”Now we understand what you meant by Mmmm maybe good, maybe bad…”
